I attended at the exhibition “Weg  – Flanierende Erkenntnis” of the students of an artistic research group in The University of Art and Design Linz.

The exhibition goes by the theme “Weg/Path” and the artists approached their artworks in an essayistic style.

My part consists of a collage of QR Codes representing all my train tickets is spent in the last 2 years.

QR-Trains is a collage consisting of 120 traintickets. The collage represents a collection
of my travels between Vienna and Salzburg in the last 2 years and yet it
is completley unreadable in its form.

Ein Projekt der Masterklasse Zeitbasierte Medien der Kunstuniversität Linz zum Thema „Reise“

VERNISSAGE 7. Juni /19h

Der Essay als „flanierende Erkenntnis“
ist ein Format der künstlerischen Forschung.
„Der Essayismus verfährt kompositorisch,
seine Strenge gewinnt er aus der Verdichtung und Verflechtung seiner Momente. Dies gelingt ihm vor allem durch Konstellationen, durch Schnitt und Montage, die sowohl sprachlich als auch bildlich eingesetzt werden“ (Kathrin Busch).
Das Thema „Reise“ als prototypischer Ausgangspunkt für sowohl medienkünstlerischen als auch literarischen Essayismus dient im Projekt WEG als Folie für eine kollektive Versuchsanordnung mit universellem Material.
